Il Casale is an Albergo Diffuso (a hotel where rooms are distributed around the ancient small village) located in one of the most attractive and best reachable areas of the Gravina of Ginosa. It is the perfect solution for all those travellers who would like to break out of the urban turmoil and of the mass tourism to take a dive into a historical landscape which has remained almost unchanged over the centuries.
Thanks to its position in the old town centre of Ginosa, our guests can easily reach the hotel parking their car nearby and making a five-minute-walk till their room while enjoying its view impressiveness.
Il Casale is not an ordinary hotel; it is rather a place infused with magic where you can live a really unique experience. Its enchanted atmosphere, its meticulous care for details, and its staff’s passion, kindness and professionalism make this hotel one of the places worth visiting at least once in your life.
The building consists of 4 rooms having their own entrance, and 2 of them have been partially created inside caves. The only thing featuring all rooms is a breathtaking look over the huge panorama of the house-caves and of the Gravina old riverbed.

The facility is composed of 6 independent rooms, and3 of them have partially been obtained within ancient caves. You will enjoy a breath-taking view on Gravinacaves and ancient riverbed from each room.
Il Casale has been recently restored, preserving not only the original building materials like tuff and wood but also the typical home furnishing such as curtains made of natural linoleum, bed sheets and handmade towels of pure cotton, handmade carpets of jute and wool. Furthermore, each room is lit up by led lights mounted on the walls, which bring a soft atmosphere and add further preciousness to the location. The home furniture aims to evoke the antiques and essential vibes of the past, by giving value to the recovery philosophy.
The six rooms are named Melograno (Pomegranate), Fico (Fig), Cappero (Caper), Malva (Mallow), Salvia (Sage) and Rosmarino (Rosemary), taking inspiration by some of the main flowers, fruits, and flavours of this magic land.
